ENTRY PROCESS
Travelers to Korea are required to undergo a special immigration process due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Starting from April 1 2022 Korea has lifted quarantine requirements for vaccinated international visitors. Fully vaccinated travelers those who have a) received two doses of a WHO-approved Covid-19 vaccine (at least 14 days prior to traveling, but within 180 days), or b) received a third (booster) dose of the vaccine.
International visitors must register their vaccine status on the Q-CODE website before arriving in Korea – a QR code will be provided which you must scan at immigration. When registering, Q-CODE will ask for your personal information (including passport number), entry information (departure country, airline, address in Korea, phone number) and vaccine records.
Covid testing: All international arrivals to Korea are required to provide a negative PCR test certificate. The test must have been taken within the 48 hours prior to departure.
The time taken for each embassy to process your application may vary. We recommend completing registering for the conference as soon as possible and applying for your visa immediately afterwards.
In order to be eligible for full refund due to visa application issues, we must be notified of your visa’s rejected status prior to November 1, 2024. After this deadline, standard refund rates will apply.
If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to our USG of Delegations, Elizabeth Steeves, at ymunkorea.delegations@yira.org.
